The Holstar has been around for a minute now. This Zambian emcee has a knack for breaking boundaries and has done so mostly with his music. This is why he has a list of collaborative albums with producers regardless of their language barriers. I deeply respect him for this and also for the amount of work he keeps putting in. On this 10 track compilation, Holstar collaborates with Poison Hertz from Argentina, whom he had met on myspace as far back as 2008, to create this body of work. According to both men, google translator played a crucial role in communication. Poison Hertz deserves accolades for his beautiful beats; hip hop does speak multiple languages. This album has been in the works for a few years now and the complete material is ready for you to sample.
