Salt Lake City-based and Los Angeles-bred rapper/songwriter Tay Toe started making music at the age of 15 using it as an outlet for his emotions. Using his life experience as his foundation, the emerging rapper has a plethora of themes to pull from and aims to give listeners a heartfelt and nuanced array of subject matter pertaining to real-time problems. His latest effort titled “Meet Again”, sees him reflecting on his own tribulations and struggles on wax and how listeners can relate and connect with him on a musical level. The production is as sombre as they come and Tay’s unassuming flow but poignant songwriting takes the cake as he digs deep to pour his emotions with pure honesty.
