It has been a minute since I heard new material from German producer Superior, to be accurate it’s been almost a year since he dropped the Verbal Kent assisted “Mastermind“. As he prepares to release his new album ‘The Journey’, Superior teases us with a solid single/video for “Rapper Shot”, an upbeat, hard hitting gem featuring Don Streat, Termanology, Lil Fame & DJ Grazzhoppa. The visuals are a sight to see though, taking cues from vintage cartoons and enthralling fx, we get to see the posse in their super hero form taking out robo bears, dragons and other monstrosities.
Superior’s new album, The Journey, is now available for pre-order via iTunes, and drops February 17 through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms through Below System Records. The 15 track LP will also be available on vinyl in limited quantities!
