Rapper Sophiegrophy delivers a cautionary tale of a single titled ” FA$T LIFE”. We notes that we all are living in the fast life, with things happening at a steady pace for some but much faster for others as the desire within us grows to attain the want rather than the need.

Teaming up with Melbourne electronic producer Lewis CanCut, who laces a bright upbeat backdrop which sonically brings the subject matter to life with the energetic drums and bright synths while Sophiegrophy explores the pressures of life but also reminds us to re-evaluate our thoughts and start thinking differently. She advices us to take control of ourselves and our emotions and ultimately to slow down ,sit down and realize that maybe we’re living the fast life.

Nigerian born – New Zealand raised artist Sophiegrophy has really made her mark on the Australian scene since moving here and releasing her first mixtape ‘Purpularity’ in 2016. With little experience with the producing aspect of music, Sophie was able to record, mix & master 10 tracks & complete her mix-tape independently on her own in the duration of 4 weeks. The mix-tape captivated many people, landing her a feature in I-D magazine, guest verses for International artists and a jump straight into the Australian live circuit with multiple shows showcasing her lovable energy. Almost a year later we are ready to present you with Sophiegrophy’s debut single “FA$T LIFE”. FA$T LIFE produced by Melbourne electronic artist Lewis CanCut, explores the stresses of life that we all experience and reminds us to re-evaluate ourselves and to start thinking differently. Sophiegrophy’s message encourages self-control and to slow down in your fast paced life. It’s something a little different from Sophiegrophy with its pop melodies and electronic pulse thanks to CanCut, but it’s a direction Sophie sees herself in and we can’t get enough
