Sly5thAve‘s newest record “Daddy Warbucks” is a collaborative track with actor/rapper Brian ‘Sene’ Marc. A funk/hip-hop fusion track that explores the dynamics of being a man and a father figure.
The track showcases the songwriting skills of Sene who takes a down to Earth approach in detailing his experiences as a man in this crazy world. Backed by a smooth guitar riff, warm basslines, and head-nodding groove, Sene blends solid lyricism and a melodic chorus to tie it all together on this heartfelt and somewhat humorous record.
“Daddy Warbucks” is taken from Sly5thAve’s self-produced forthcoming LP What It Is. Get it on Youtube.
