Rapper Sky Eyes and French producer Foodj Madrigal continue their sle of releases as they drop the visuals for their song “Yesterday”. The track is a reflective piece that explores the concept of time, chance, growth and human resilience. Over the solemn and moody piano-laden backdrop, Sky Eyes drops more than a handful of jewels for listeners to ponder. Lines like “It takes 9 months to incubate a baby/It takes 9 yards to go the whole length see/ 9 out of 10 times, you can’t be lazy, luck is about being prepared much more than maybe” show how patience is key and being consistent goes a long way.

The accompanying visual is mostly performance-based and focuses on Sky Eyes in different spots as he basks in the comfort of the sticks far from the craziness of the concrete jungle.
