Buzzing Detroit emcee Semi Six is back in his stomping grounds after some years developing his craft overseas in Kuala Lumpur, where he actually began his career. The young rapper links up with Ilajide (of Clear Soul Forces) who laces him with the hard-hitting production on his new project titled “Park Orange EP”.  The EP gets its name from two Motor City streets (Asbury Park and Orangelawn)

Semi raps with a confidence that’s buoyant and infectious, and you can feel it as soon as he hits the mic on opener “Too Code.” The track serves as the perfect introduction to the emcee’s life. There are a lot of gems on this one from the Nolan the ninja assisted “Posse Kicks”, the EP’s stand out joint “Dr Funk” alongside Ilajide himself,  “Microphone Check” and “Da Latest.”  Nothing but dopeness on this project.
