Since Mr West announced a change in the title of his upcoming project, we have seen a resurgence of the Wave. I mean literally, as it sparked a twitter altercation between Mr West himself and Wiz Khalifa producing comical results (No thanks to Amber Rose). Anyway, on this side of the pond, we got Reppatwa back on his grizzly showing some Wave love to the Wave god Max B on his new single titled WAVE (Free Max B).

Reppatwa has a knack for using cloudy, soulful soundscapes which accentuates his free flow delivery and this here is no different. Mary J induced narratives that come to life over a soulful backdrop crafted by producer Loopz. Say no more, hit the play button and get familiar.

Reppatwa drops off the second instalment of his Sunday releases, “WAVE (Free Max B)”. With production coming from Loopz, Reppatwa channels his inner Max B-esque voice on the chorus, as well as including a sample of “Bad Whiskey”, as a salute to the incarcerated Harlem rapper.
