Charlotte, North Carolina duo of Qwyk and Diesel are Pragmaddix and debut the video for their brand new single Airtight, produced by London’s Drae Da Skimask. This track is billed to appear on the pair’s third upcoming project,  titled GenY.  It is somewhat weird how the video depicts the rappers as couch potatoes but have some intelligent things to say in their raps. I guess you could call the visual off-kilter as it makes you wonder about their mind state.

Though they are not from Durham but Pragmadixx does represent the home state of famous producer 9th Wonder. No lie, the track has a subtle boom bap feel that makes you want to zone out, the kind of music for those Sunday afternoon drives.
Airtight is that track that gives an insight into what GenY will sound like when it drops this summer. Give it a watch and listen.
