Brooklyn based electronic band Pool Cosby team up with singer Denitia for this exciting collaboration titled “I Like You”. The track is a heartwarming, solemn piece that dives right into loving someone deeply and allowing them to get away with anything. Built on a smooth, mellow texture with soft grooves, Denitias vocals take center stage as she delivers an alluring performance that also exudes a very calm demeanor.  It’s pretty relatable and soulful from start to finish.

The video shot and directed by Andrew Tomayko who helps capture the summer vibe with different shots of Denitia and the band in several spots in the city. It’s very minimalistic and enthralling too as the director goes for a weird but novel visual FX that focuses on still shots with only a few moving parts such as the mouth and hands. Hit the play button and get familiar.

Pool Cosby is made up of producers Jacuzzi Jefferson, Kevin Kuh, and Otto Botté. Since forming in 2012, Pool Cosby has released three mixtapes and two EPs. After garnering the praise and attention of local critics and artists, the group released their debut full-length album “Blind Gold” in 2017. The LP featured an electronic blend of jazz, hip-hop, and pop paired with live orchestral arrangements and showcased an eclectic list of guest vocals from rappers Raekwon (of Wu-Tang Clan), Kool A.D. (of Das Racist), and Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire to singers Andrianne Lenker (of Big Thief), DUVV, and Tiger Darrow.

Pool is now preparing to release their second full-length album due in early 2020.
