LA-based emcee GaKnew Roxwel (pronounced Gnu Rocks Well) hit us up with a gripping urban tale on his new track titled “Child Witness”. Backed by a self-produced cinematic upbeat backdrop, Roxwel details a vivid tale of a young kid growing up in the hood and all the adversity he has face to be a man. From family trauma and the varied societal ills, we get to see the life of a kid who is forced to be a man.

“Child Witness” is the second single of Roxwel’s new EP It Was 1994. He recently appeared in the HBO documentary Foster, helping a foster youth deal with trauma by finding his voice as an emcee.
