Dublin born, Manchester-based producer Pitch 92 links up with emerging rapper Lord Apex for this thumping track titled “Suttin’ In The Trunk”

The track has a dark and somewhat cinematic feel with its ominous textures and heavy breakbeat style drums that are craftily syncopated. Lord Apex sure comes through with the goods and shows his mettle with lines like “…I’ve been thinking its cool, I ain’t smart yet, I was mad young and my journey ain’t start yet…” He acknowledges the path he has taken and is willing to go through the extra mile to reach his goals.

The visuals are straight forward and show a lot of performance shots of Lord Apex doing his thing. It’s a no-frills, no glitz type affair here and really captures the raw essence of Pitch 92’s production and Lord Apex’s unfiltered style.
