Phocuz and J-Mac return with “Mike From Michigan” which sees them teaming up with Scoopay and Larry Donnavon. The track produced by J-Mac and Greeneryy makes use of a soulful sample and punchy drums that blend perfectly with the rapper’s vivid lyricism and commanding flows.

Phocuz is an emcee from Elizabeth, North Carolina and J-Mac is a producer from Edenton, North Carolina. The two grew up in completely different environments, with two disparate experiences. During his rap career, Phocuz has worked with producer 9th Wonder and longtime friend Swift (of Akon‘s Konvikt Record Label, Def Jam via No I.D., and Epic Records). J-Mac has earned production credits on work by Snoop DoggGhostface KillahG-UnitCyhi The PrynceSean PriceVadoFlip and ChinxYung Berg, and more. J-Mac’s work has also landed on ESPN and NBC Sports.
