After dropping her album,  Godspeed Baptism (Prelude) earlier this year, Naya Ali closes out the year on a grand note with the visuals for her song “Air Ali.” The title which is a nod to the greatest basketball player sees Ali in her element as she delivers a smooth melody laced performance draped in her authentic style. She lets everyone know that she is not a run of a mill artist and puts her foot down on the opposition over the booming trap backdrop that beefs up her unapologetic lyrics.

The visual is expressive and plays into the theme of the song of leaving the past and restraints behind. The use of various set pieces and performance shots of people playing basketball, airplanes, and color-coordinated shots sure add to the engaging element and show Ali’s next move beyond the skies.
