Indie soul collective Nané makes a grand entrance on TWIB with this soothing piece titled “Pink Jag.”  The single is a mellow, funky, and soulful tune that explores the inherent power of the female form, and how vulnerable man becomes in the grips of passion. Over thick basslines, silky guitars and soft drums, Nané’s lead vocalist Nané brings out deep emotions on “Pink Jag” delivers a sultry performance that is ripe with surreal harmonies and gripping melodies. The song was co-written with JaRon Marshall, the keyboard player for the Black Pumas and Nané.

Nané is an Austin based indie-soul group made up of frontman Daniel Sahad,  Ian Green (guitar), Scott McIntyre (bass), Brady Knippa (drums), and JaRon Marshall (keys). The name Nané is a reflection of Daniel’s Dominican roots and serves as a term of endearment for the Caribbean country.
