Berlin-based artist and producer J.Lamotta is back for the year 2020 with a unique sensual soul-infused R&B as she shares the video for her single “Can’t Refuse.” The track sees her in her element as she delivers sultry melodies over the soulful/engulfing backdrop. It sure displays a different and edgier side of J.Lamotta as she sings softly “…I just wanna take off your clothes/ I just wanna feel you close…” The singer puts her emotions on wax while taking ample time to reflect on the dynamics of sexuality and relationships.

“Can’t Refuse” marks a new direction for J.Lamotta whose soulful RnB vocal harmonies remain, while the hard hitting hip hop drums drive the single forward and bring new energy to her music. The visual was directed by Nimrod Weißlöwe and J.Lamotta herself.

Speaking about the single, J.Lamotta comments: “At some point in life, I realized that I wasn’t fully accepting myself; maybe I was obeying a taboo and trying to set a so-called “good” example. I went a long way to be able to embrace my sexuality, and I wish that everyone who faces a similar thing will be able to discover the liberty that comes with accepting your desires.”
