Wellington-born, Melbourne-based multi-talented rapper Name UL prepares for his upcoming album CHOSE(N), and in the interim, he shares the first single “Dice Roll.” The track is a heartfelt and playful tale about noticing someone who is overlooked. Backed by a mellow and dreamy backdrop, Name UL takes listeners on a relatable ride that feels somewhat familiar and wholesome. He doesn’t shy away from being true to himself and shows a bit of vulnerability but not in a cheesy way.
‘Dice Roll’ was produced by Name UL, originating from a sketch provided by NZ producer Baccyard. It was mixed by Lee Prebble and Surgery Studios (Wellington), with mastering by Kelly Hibbert (Flying Lotus, Madlib, Hiatus Kaiyote).
