The Muamin Collective just put out an 8 track EP titled Dig and this video is the picture for the title track of the project. The group which started as a concept has over the last 10 years become praxis. It consists of A-Live and ZiON who happen to Cleveland natives. The duo have collaborated with friend and (incredible) drummer Neil Chastain, Guitarist Mike McNamara and Jacob Wynne (Trumpet) and the prodigious Eli Hanley (Keys/synth bass), putting together a live band to interpret Muamin’s catalog, and take the live show up another notch. When you listen to the project, you will hear the musicality of their material and understand that the collaborations where not done in vain. The Nat Cherry directed video comes from the natural angle removing the fantasy from the music but portraying a natural and friendly vibe probably of the everyday living of the duo. I guess this helps to cement the conscious tone of the song in itself. Hit the red button to understand the direction.
