D.I.T.C member Showbiz teams up with Molecules (Of Legion fame) and together they deliver that good ol’ boom-bap dopeness on their debut single/video “Bad Guy”. Both repping BX to the fullest, the visuals takes it to the birthplace of Hip-Hop, showing an afternoon spent posted up in the streets of NYC as Molecules and his guest, Money Ray, spit their wordplay-laden verses. Showbiz handles the menacing, sample-flipping production—just as he does on the entire EP—and once again proves that he’s one of the best at these kicks and snares.
“Bad Guy,” off their forthcoming collaborative effort, A Bronx Tale.
The six track EP is a celebration of the BX as its coveted birthplace of Hip-Hop culture, and the artists it’s given rise to. That includes Molecules and Showbiz, who’ve previously worked together as part of their respective crews, The Legion and D.I.T.C. And on “Bad Guy,” they’re displaying exactly why they have teamed up once again—these two just have a gift for delivering that raw Boom bap.
Check out the visuals, and head over to iTunes where “Bad Guy” is available for download as the first instant-grat track off A Bronx Tale, which is also ready for pre-order through Amazon and Google Play, as well as Fat Beats, for those that would like to purchase this release on CD or vinyl.
