Moemaw Naedon and C.Scott connect with El Da Sensei for the fittingly psychedelic and chaotic new video for the previous release single “Off the Path,” a trippy banger off the duo’s recently released River Rats album. The track has a sublime and somewhat cinematic production courtesy of C.Scott, and both Naedon and El Da Sensei proceed to showcase their penmanship to the fullest with vivid lyrics and engaging flows.

The video is shot and directed by El Da Sensei himself and Big Joker in El’s native Newark, N.J. Their vision matches the track’s already-hectic musical nature, which is propelled by both producer C.Scott’s kaleidoscoping instrumental and the rhymes from both Moemaw and El. And it all really comes together in the visual medium, thanks especially to the slick edits and effects from Sam Krats.

It also feels like a bridging of the gap between two hip-hop generations that happen to share a similar love for the craft. The younger Moemaw brings his A-game with his verse and songwriting on the hook, while El storms onto the track and holds down the finishing verse. And shouts to the whole entourage who showed up dipped out in the fly Polo attire.
