Birmingham-born artist Matreya (formerly known as Mason Noise) is forging a new path with his music as he returns with the brand new single “Eagles.” The multi-talented, genre-bending artist breaks the mould as he taps into the modern soul, with experimental pop and Afrocentric aesthetics to create this soul-stirring and insightful piece that explores the difficulties with self-transformation and actualization. Armed with his rich and wide vocal range and profound songwriting, Matreya takes us on a journey from the bottom to the apex. We get to see his flaws, trepidations and the slow build-up of confidence till he rises to task at hand.

The song comes with a cinematic visual that sees Matreya as the wandering nomad, looking for his purpose through the mountains and valleys of the Scottish Highlands.

He had that “‘Eagles’ is a reflection of everything he has been through—the grief, the healing, and the lessons he learnt about trusting your path and embracing transformation.” In a nutshell, “It’s about finding one’s courage and inner strength through life’s challenges and discovering one’s unique life purpose.”
