I must say, its been a minute since I heard new material from producer Maja 7th. You might remember him from the super dope GRAND project he did with one of my favorite emcees Dominique LaRue and if you don’t well do know he has also worked with the likes of ADD-2, Killah Priest and Freddie Gibbs.  The man just blessed us with a preview of his latest work titled Get Familiar. A compilation which is due out sometime in April or May. I can guess the features but I would also be surprised when I find out what he really has in store for us.

Indianapolis resident producer, Maja7th (Freddie Gibbs, ADD-2, Killah Priest) releases a teaser visual in preparation for his solo compilation album ‘Get Familiar’ on the heels off his critically acclaimed 2014 collaboration album ‘GRAND’ with Columbus, OH based lyricist Dominique Larue. ‘Get Familiar’ is due for release everywhere sometime around April/May ’15.

The trailer for the LP is shot and directed by Red August in the Indianapolis area, and documents the producers movements over the last few months, the clip is an small insight into the life of Maja7th himself. Maja is captured in his element having a good time with family and friends. You will also get to hear his thoughts about music in general. The forthcoming full length project ‘Get Familiar’ will consist of some of Maja’s favorite records from the past and will also feature some brand new material.
