Flying Lotus has recently been spending time blowing away anyone who’d dare lend an ear to his music. This time, it’s the turn of his label – that is, Brianfeeder, the label that FlyLo started, not the one he’s signed to – and fellow producer Lapalux.

I love this beat, a Hip Hop-Electronica hybrid; it starts off with ambient, pulsing soft vocals before gradually morphing into frenzied synth but retaining the same rhythmic intensity throughout. I’m going to have to check out more of this guy’s stuff and it just confirms to me that Brainfeeder is one of the biggest and most important labels Hip Hop can claim to have right now.
