DJ/Producer Kut One returns with another banger and this time he comes through with rising emcee Recognize Ali who has been putting in work like crazy and recently put out a collaborative project with Verbal Kent. The track in question is titled “The Chosen One” which blends dark, ominous backdrops with Ali’s ferocious lyricism. Ali doesn’t waste time in letting the opposition feel the heat and boldly proclaims, “Behold, it’s the man of the year.” And you hit the play button, you get the feeling he just may be right. On the rowdy single, Ali is in his element with sharp and confident rhymes, so much so that he isn’t afraid to let the beat breathe. Rightfully so, because Kut delivers a head-nodding slapper here that fits perfectly into the tracklist.
