Kev Brown serves up a fresh dozen with Songs Without Words Vol.1, his newest instrumental album on Low Budget Records.
With the internet full of unofficial patchwork compilations of a producers discography, it’s great to actually see one put together by the artists own hands.  Because of this, we assuredly get a cohesive sounding snapshot of some of Kev Brown‘s finest beats; those that he considers his own personal favourites – which in itself provides an interesting perspective.  It’s not all “heard-it-before” material though as it features many unreleased tracks, making it essential for all the collectors out there.

When I read the line “ongoing series” the news got even better as we can expect more volumes to come our way in the future.  In the meantime, stream above and purchase early exclusively at the Redef Store.  Output from Kev Brown is always welcome around here.
