Multi-talented Dutch Ghanaian rapper, singer/producer Kay Slice returns with the visuals for his anthemic single “Takin It Home” which sees him going back to Ghana to shoot a befitting video to match the climactic track. The track sees him collaborating with Ghanaian artist and producer Reynolds The Gentleman, who produced and sings on the track as well as contributions from Peter Somuah (Trumpet), Bright Osei Baffour (Lead Guitar), and Adu Berks (Drums). From the upbeat drum grooves, lively horns, lush guitar riffs to Kay Slice waxing lyrical about returning to his roots in Ghana for a glorious homecoming to feed his soul.

The visual is directed by Edward Papoe who helps capture the richness and diversity of Ghanaian culture.

Emerging as an exciting and fast-rising new artist in the Netherlands for his glorious hip-hop and afrobeats fusion, Kay Slice has performed for the Dutch Royal Family, as well as on the biggest Dutch TV entertainment show De Wereld Draait Door, with the likes of Red Bull Music, 3VOOR12 and VPRO also singing his praises. He is now on a mission to spread his unique blend of hip-hop, soul, Ghanaian groove, afrobeats and highlife across the rest of the world. His music speaks to self-love, identity, finding yourself and connecting deeply with ones’ roots, and when it’s all said and done, Kay Slice wants to have left a rich impression on his generation.
