South Africa emcee A-REECE returns with brand new visuals for his song “Tuff Luck” which is a collaboration with his brother Jay Jody. This is coming off the heels of his critically acclaimed Today’s Tragedy, Tomorrow’s Memory mixtape, which came out last year. “Tuff Luck” is a showcase of the duo’s undeniable chemistry and seamless pairing which sees the blood brothers exchanging bravado bars laced with their reality and journey as certified rap stars in their own right.

“Tuff Luck” is taken from the duo’s (collectively known as BLUE TAPE) collaborative project, Heaven Can Wait: The Narrow Door (Vol. 1)  which came out in late 2021.

The visual is a celebration of life and sees both men having the time of their lives soaking up the good life. It pays homage to the classic 90s rap videos with its bright aesthetics and house party vibes that bring together a host of friends and well-wishers.

Celebrated as one of the best rap artists to come out of South Africa, A-Reece was only 19-years old when he garnered critical acclaim for his seminal debut album Paradise, and since then, the Pretoria native has been on one of the most relevant hot streaks in African rap music, with six acclaimed projects and multiple awards under his belt. His brother Jay Jody, on the other hand, is not only revered as one half of iconic South African rap duo B3NCHMARQ, but he is also one of the main influences behind A-Reece starting to make rap music at such a young age.
