Graf Cratedigger is a name we haven’t heard from in a while, but he’s been away in his secret lab with Polish MC Wyaz, who together make Kanal Zero. The duo have teamed up for Niepodległość Trójkątów, a name which to be honest I have no idea how to pronounce but it looks hella cool. As it often is with non-English speaking hip-hop, I can’t appreciate the lyrics as I’d like, but the musicality of the music, which means to say the production and the flow, make it easy enough to listen to (I’m sure the lyrics are on point, Graf has great taste in music). To elaborate on that a little, the production BANGS. The thumping bass drum pierces through all the layers above it, and the jazzy, funky samples are sure to break your neck, and the little skits and breaks are perfectly executed. A dope European release, that’s also available on wax!
