According to information reaching me this enigmatic rapper from Newark, New Jersey, Kalil Johnson, has been spitting for about four years now in the New York circuits. I wonder how come no one has managed to spot this diamond in the rough. Well, here he is for y’all to witness and experience the abundance of talent in this man here. This video “Kimbo Slice” as directed by Bradley Buehring, serves as the platform to peep Kalil’s music. This dude has that element of surprise in him as you may want to dismiss him till he starts to flow. The video is quite arty in a sense, somewhat unusual for an upcoming artist to not plaster his face all over the video but rather use silhouettes instead. Maybe that is the idea of Kimbo Slice and Clay Hillman did a good job with the backing track. Check it out right here.
