2016 has been a hectic year for Jonathan Emile. Between dropping videos from his CMJ chart topping debut album ‘The Lover/Fighter Document LP‘ and hitting us with singles from his upcoming album ‘Phantom Pain‘, he’s been putting in work as a Director and Screenplay Writer with his crew, MindPeaceLove.

This has been an exceptionally big week for Emile. Last month, Jonathan won a court caseagainst Universal Music, TDE and Interscope Records over the unlawful takedown of his 2015 breakout single ‘Heaven Help Dem‘ featuring Kendrick Lamar. Last week, lawyers in Canada took notice of his case file and began discussing the unique judgement in Jonathan Emile’s favour. From there, various media publications reached out to his management team, eventually leading to national and international coverage of the story that broke via Billboarda few days ago. In a serendipitous bout of timing, Jonathan was preparing his newest video ‘Limit’.
