Toronto by way of Australia emcee Notion is back with a brand new one he calls “Hurt“. A mid tempo jam that allows him to reflect on the struggles and hurdles in life, music and more. He not only shares his views but brings along for the ride, his blood brother Cee and Myer Clarity (who also produced the joint) chimes in with their own personal outlook on the subject matter while  Jonathan Emile wraps it up with a moving, reggae-infused hook over Myer Clarity‘s sample-laden, boom bap production.

The visuals was shot by usual collaborator King Richard with assistance from 9 Block Productions, “Hurt” follows the four MCs through a dusty Quebec summer, with Notion commandeering a beat up vehicle picking up hitchhiking rappers while they all speak their truth about the pain in their respective lives.
