Jodye Basco shares visuals for “I Wrote This Here” [Video]

SA emcee Jodye Basco makes his entry on our site with his new single “I Wrote This Here” which comes with an accompanying visual. The track is built on a somber and reflective piano arrangement and moody textures and underpinned by Jodye’s reflective and thoughtful lyrics about life in general. In summary, he gives listeners a short glimpse into his journey, the ups and downs and what he plans on doing as time progresses.

The visual directed by Jay Odiwye makes use of performance shots of Jodye with seamless transitions and a simple concept of 1 location shoot. The scenes move from the rapper to several other people as they all chill on the couch doing their thing.

Stream “I Wrote This Here” on Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Deezer.
