Bay Area-based Funk soul band Tha Building team up with seasoned Bay-area rapper Lyrics Born for this heartfelt track titled “Love Remains”. The track is culled from their debut project entitled Outside Ourselves. The production is as silky and soulful as they come and it’s ripe with lush guitar riffs, head-nodding grooves, warm basslines, and soulful keys to match the alluring melodic performances. The lyrics are heartfelt and dive into the lovelorn emotions of having to let go of someone you can’t be with. The band is joined by Lyrics Born who adds a reflective and bavado-laden verse as well.

The visuals capture the band in their element as they perform in the studio with a full session band but they are joined by Lyrics Born via video-call.
