Jeremiah Stokes shares this track “Corona” from his stash with us. The record was birthed after his friend was killed in a home invasion and that really affected Stokes to pen something to ease the pain.

The Z. Will produced record has a warm and soulful texture with bouncy drums to match Stokes’s fluid and vibrant delivery. He takes time to detail his own troubles and tribulations as well and looks at how forgiveness can go a long way in mending friendships before it’s too late. He also touches on other issues from failed relationships, fake friends, and naysayers who were leeching off him at some point but he found a way to distance himself from them. As for the title, he states that it has nothing to do with the pandemic but rather a reference to the outer atmosphere of the sun.

The single is off his project BLKBRD.
