Peace everyone……here’s the first progress update on our efforts to aid Japan.
First and foremost on behalf of The Word Is Bond team, a MAJOR thank you to all blogs and readers that have been spreading the word on “Hope For Tomorrow” through their respective networks. The response has been overwhelming, far beyond what we expected, and this is all thanks to you.
The album managed to amass 2,500 dollars on the first 24 hours of release, and shot to #1 selling album on Bandcamp overnight.

This is a blessing and truly humbling to us, as it means that all the hard work by the artists and everyone in the team is paying off and most importantly it means that we are able to help much more than we thought.
Up to yesterday afternoon, we’ve gathered 3,656 dollars and hasn’t even been a week since the album came out. The sales have been slowing down for the past 2 days though, and we are now on #4 on Bandcamp.
We’ve donated 100% the money up until yesterday to Global Giving. (as they accept PayPal and makes the transactions much quicker) and we would like to show you first hand where all your efforts and donations are going so you can see for yourselves.
