Rap duo Jae Haze x Gzus Piece delivers their collaborative project, Gzus Haze, as the month comes to a close. The 11 track body of work is chock full of cinematic production and bravado-laden raps.

From the first record “Wicked Waves” where we get introduced to the duo’s offbeat and carefree style, the duo doesn’t hold back and continues their verbal onslaught with reckless abandon. Tracks like the somber “Do Em Wrong,” and reflective “Life’s Work” sees the duo share some revealing elements about their lives while they keep things light on “Thangin” with its sparse booming backdrop. On “Let Em Know” they remind listeners of their rap status as next to catch with vivid lyrics and expressive flows. The project closes out with “Best West” with its moody texture and groovy arrangement. It is a haze-influenced record that gives dreamy and alluring vibes while the emcees detail their elevated mindstate on wax.
