Rising artist J-Geezy shares new singles “Slow Down” and “Kweku.”

The first track “Slow Down” is a mellow sultry track that sees him addressing a young lady who is seemingly living on the fast lane. He tries to warn her of the trappings of the life she is living and implores her to take things easy and slow down. The track has a moody and gloomy vibe which fits J-Geezy’s laidback flow and melodic inflections.

The second track “Kweku” is inspired by the Ghanaian name for “born on Wednesday” which is the rapper’s real name. Over a chilled, guitar-laden backdrop, he takes listeners into his life and his journey as an indie artist in the industry.
