We’ve been sleeping a lot on Ian Kamau this year…for those that don’t know this Canadian mc, is up there with Shad in terms of lyricism and depth. His body of work is original, and soulful, always true to the bone, and you can feel it in it his music.
We talked about him a lot back in 2010 as his album “Love and Other Struggles” was one of the best of that year.
He’s been up to a lot in 2012, and I’ll be posting over the next few days some of the work this brother has been releasing.
First up, the video above “Black Bodies”, track taken from his latest album “One Day Soon” released late last year.
