HipHop HeadUcatorz Deliver History Lesson on Racism in ‘Great White North PT 2 (feat. Lumos)’

#IDLENOMORE, say it loud and say it proud. MikeAll from the Canadian education collective HipHop HeadUcatorz is back with a video that should be required viewing in all Canadian high schools. “Great White North PT 2” champions the animated style of Gorillaz notoriety to teach the youth (and the adults out there unaware) of the systemic racism plaguing First Nations People in Canada. The video was also appropriately dropped for Indigenous Peoples Day. The walk-through briefs us on the important events leading to discrimination in residential schools and the other atrocities Native people have had to endure in the Great White North.
