Following the release of his critically acclaimed album Eclectic Soul, Columbus OH’s Greg Owens teams up with TrigNO & Kashis Keyz for the visual of one of the album singles “Tetris”. Shot by @itsninevibes with appearances by the songs co producer The Dreamcatchers & poet/rapper Tripp Fontane who features on the album version.

 

Greg Owens is a 23 year old drummer, producer, recording artist and song-writer looking to make a really big impact in the music world. Born on May 14th, Greg Owens was raised by two educators and grew up on the north side of Columbus, OH. His first taste of music was at the age of 2 when he first picked up the drums. At a young age, he began to play the drums at church and along with other bands. At first he wanted to become a professional drummer. After listening to more music and watching music videos, he became fascinated by the many musical styles and storytelling of the artist he listens to.
By the age of 10 years old, he began to write his own songs. As an early teen, Greg and his neighborhood friends would rap over tap recorders. Eventually he decided that he wanted to get into production at the age of 13. Since then he has produced for himself and local acts around the city. Greg Owens eventually started his own label group called “Young Nation Entertainment” which established many young artist to get their music produced and heard. Since his freshman year in high school, he has recorded 8 mixtapes (includes Next Generation I, II & III, Living In a Fantasy, The G Files I & II and School Dayz) in which he produced and mastered himself. His most popular songs include “It’s Alright” feat Michael Owens (his father) and “Popular” in which he both produced and gained him attention all over the Mid-West. He currently attends Columbia College in Chicago, IL majoring in Music Business. He plans to drop his highly anticipated project “The Greg Owens Project” soon.
