DMV act Sheik Kargbo comes through with his latest visual for his song “Trapped (buck Fever)“. The track is a mellow with a dash of broody vibes which really fits the pictures he paints on the song. He gives the listener a gripping insight into what really goes down in his hometown of Alexandria, VA

And that narrative, as Kargbo repeats on the hook, is about being “Trapped in the trap” and everything that entails. With his pen as his weapon, he takes aim at snitches, task forces, and anyone else trying to stir the pot in his city, while also showcasing his impressive chops as a producer. Just listen to that smooth beat-switch during the third verse, and just try not to run it back.

Check out the visuals, and then head over to iTunes where the track is available for download as the second instant-grat track off The Speakeasy Experience, which is also available for pre-order through Amazon and Google Play. The 20 track self-produced LP is set to drop May 12th, via Kargbo’s own Renaissance Republic imprint.
