Jadakiss returns with a short film, and a new single to compliment it. Lacing his bars over a Peabo Bryson sample, you could hear the chemistry woven together for this stand-out track.

The song will be a part of his upcoming album called Ignatius. The name of the album comes from Ignatius Jackson, known as ‘Icepick Jay’, who was an A&R exec for Ruff Ryders and The L.O.X. that passed away back in 2017. The short film was paying tribute to Jackson, which over 9 minutes shows you the meaning of loyalty.

In the interview for Pull Up with Joe Budden back in April, Kiss mentions that Icepick Jay was his ‘buffer’ when he goes into the meetings to keep him informed about what’s going on with his album and everything music related.

“But then he passed away, he died on me,” Jadakiss said, saluting him.

“So now you don’t have that buffer between the label and yourself,” Joe Budden responds.

“There’s no mediation there. I can’t guarantee that what I’m getting told is the real deal.” Jadakiss said.
