Boston MA emcee G Smoove kicks off 2022 with his brand new project entitled Welcome To Bo$$town, the 15 track body of work dives deep into the rapper’s life and all the trials and tribulations he has endured.

The project opens up with the solemn vibes of “Nonfiction,” an introductory track that draws listeners deep into the mix of the action with vivid and graphic lyrics displayed by G Smoove. On “Juggernaut” he makes use of a west coast-styled backdrop to share his thoughts on the game. The track is a smooth blend of bravado and insightful lyrics peppered by his East coast cadence and demeanor. This is followed by “Highpoint Villains” and “One of a kind,” the former is a gritty reflective track while the latter is a bravado-laden cut that showcases G Smoove’s lyrical prowess in an unfiltered manner. The energy levels dip low on the solemn “Bosstown” which serves as a reminder to the rapper’s hometown and all the various events that could happen. He teams up with fellow rapper K. Scott on the hustler anthem “Money On My Mind” while Phinelia adds a smooth vocal assist on the introspective “Came Too far.” The project wraps up on a mellow note with “Gone Fishing,” a heartwarming tune that talks about self-growth and having perseverance in times of hardship.

Overall Welcome To Bo$$town, deliver the good and give listeners a nuanced look at the life of a rapper balancing daily tribulations with the music thing. Other dope tracks to not overlook include the upbeat “Warmed Up,” “Killafornia” and the hard-hitting “Slumlordz.”
