Mustard Seed – The Magnificent
Mustard Seed consists of two members outta California, “Devious” and “PapPap” aka “Iller Than Jubei”. A partnership that was originally formed through a love of basketball. Both avid hip-hop enthusiasts they would freestyle in spare time and play with the idea of making good music in a ever changing hip-hop climate that felt unfamiliar. “Devious” began cultivating his writing craft doing tracks with prominent local MC and long time friend Fraction. At this time “PapPap” started to sharpen his production skills giving “Devious” beat cds every few weeks. As time passed they began making beats together and decided that it was time to switch their focus from basketball to music, putting an emphasis on strong lyrical content and beats that derive from the whole musical spectrum.
