This album is a landmark for me, as far as making sample-free music and making actual music instead of just making beats. Starting off on machines like the MPC 60 and ASR-10, I relied on samples primarily to construct my beats. That changed when I started working on the Korg Triton keyboard about 10 years ago. Though many producers have moved on to make music on software applications, I still prefer to use the Korg. Unlike the other beatmaking vets, I’m not doing this to be stubborn. I’m doing this because I still haven’t finished my quest to master this machine. With that said, I present to you, TRITON MAGIK!
