Production duo Fika and UK singer Stefan Mahendra team up for a sublime and heartwarming tune titled “Tear This Love Apart” which serves as the lead single from the singer’s forthcoming debut EP. The guitar-laden track has a warm texture with its mellow chords, rich progressions that blend perfectly with Stefan’s soothing and alluring melodic runs. The song dives into the uncertainty in a relationship where both parties have seemingly run out of love for each other. Stefan delivers the goods with a solid soul-stirring performance that displays his wide vocal range and excellent evocative lyrics.

“Tear This Love Apart” is the focus single from Stefan’s forthcoming EP, which explores “the inherently unpredictable aspects of love”. The project is produced entirely and co-written by South London duo fika.

Stefan Mahendra is a London, UK  based half Sri Lankan, half-German singer/songwriter who has been in the industry for a minute. From singing in the choir in the church to performing alongside legends like Sting, Shaggy, etc, He has solidified his rep as the go-to vocalist in the UK and now he is back in the studio working on his first debut project dropping in June of 2022.
