This right here is the first solo track Earl Sweatshirt has dropped since his return from Samoa. The dude is somewhat of a prodigy, knitting together complex, intricate rhymes – about raping and murdering and pillaging, which I accept isn’t perhaps gold – since the age of 15 but he missed a year of music to, in his words, stop ‘f***ing up’ and he’s been slow to get back into it since, although you can hear him on numerous features. Anyway, this features typical primitive Odd Future production – provided by Pharrell, funnily enoufh – and typical Earl on the mic. Taking it back to OF’s essence…
