Queens producer dxmingo makes his entry on TWIB with his brand of edgy boom-bap infused productions. He shares with us “alt-COOPERSTOWN” and “alt-PROMETHEUS-b,” 2 beats that showcase his unique style behind the boards. These two tracks are from dxmingo’s 2019 debut project, SEEDS.

The first beat “alt-COOPERSTOWN” has a dark synth and weird sound design that sounds like the backdrop for a vintage horror flick/ The track is quite brief in length but sure packs a heavy punch with the pulsating effects and heavy-hitting drums. The title alludes to the fact it’s a revamp of a previous beat of the same name.

The second track “alt-PROMETHEUS-b” has a solemn texture and moody feel over a neck-snapping drum arrangement. The dusty textures do add to the overall feel and sure makes for a solid listen.
