DragonFruit takes a different route on their newest release titled “Lonely” where it draws inspiration from the LA beat scene. Bolstered by a moody and reflective production, singer Danique van der Vlugt dives deep and shares her thoughts on being isolated from the rest of the world. She delivers her verses with a laidback flow and peppers the chorus section with a soothing melodic run that lingers in the ear for a while.
