“Empty Spot” is an international posse cut that links up emcees from different countries. The track sees Canadian emcee Die-Rek teaming up with UK’s K.I.N.E.T.I.K. , Sivion from the USA, and Soulseize from Switzerland.
Bolstered by Soulseize’s jazzified boom-bap backdrop, the emcees each take time to reflect on 2020 and all the craziness the entire world has endured. Far from being rueful, the emcees do offer an uplifting and insightful tone for us to rock with as we celebrate the holidays.
